Williams, Channing Moore

bishop, was born July 18, 1829, in Richmond, Va. He was consecrated missionary bishop of China, with jurisdiction in Japan, in 1866.

WILLIAMS, CHARLES FREDERIC, author, was born in 1842 in Massachusetts. He is the author of The Tariff Laws of the United States, with Explanatory Notes; and Index of Cases Overruled by the Courts of America, England, and Ireland from 1873 to 1887. He edited the last eight volumes of The American and English Cyclopædia of Law. He died in 1895.
