West, Bina M

supreme record keeper, Ladies of the Maccabees of the World, was born May 18, 1867, in Columbus, Mich.

She has been prominently identified with the educational interests of Michigan. She began teaching at an early age, and her ability was recognized by an election to the county board of school managers for St. Clair county, the only woman who has ever been so honored in that county.

She is an extensive traveler, and has lectured in the interest of the Ladies of the Maccabees in every state in the Union.

She is distinguished as an orator and writer, and is the editor of The Review, a fraternal magazine.
