Wade, Martin J

lawyer, educator, lecturer, jurist, was born Oct. 20, 1861, in Burlington, Vt. He was professor of law in the state university of Iowa during 1891-93. He was appointed judge of the eighth judicial district of Iowa in 1893; received the election to that office in 1894, which position he still fills. He also lectures upon Evidence in the law department of the state university, and upon Medical Jurisprudence in the medical department of the same institution. In 1897 he was elected president of the Iowa State Bar association.
