naturalist, author, was born Feb. 14, 1832, in Roxbury, Mass. He was a naturalist of eminence; and the author of Descriptiones Animalium Evertebratorum; Notes on • North American Crustacea; and Crustacea Dredged in the Gulf Stream. He died May 26, 1872, in Ilchester Mills, Md.
