Spoonts, Morris A

lawyer, jurist, orator, was born Nov. 9, 1857, in Bell He was educated in the county, Texas. common schools of his native state; has become one of the foremost lawyers of Texas; and has a large practice in Fort Worth. He has been prosecuting attorney; judge of his county; president of the city council; and filled various other public positions of honor. For many years he has been attorney of the Union Pacific Railway company, and the Fort Worth and Denver City Railroad company. He is prominent in public affairs and in politics, and has attained prominence as a brilliant orator.
