Spencer, Samuel
railroad president, was born March 2, 1847, in Columbus, Ga. He is president of the Alabama Great Southern railroad; and of the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern railway; and is also president of numerous other corporations in New York city. SPENCER, MRS. SARA [ANDREWS], author, was born Oct. 21, 1837, in Savona, N. Y. She is a prominent woman suffragist of Washington; and proprietor of the Spencerian Business college. She is the author of Problems on the Woman Question; and Lessons in the English Language.
