Smith, Henry Boynton

clergyman, author, was born Nov. 21, 1815, in Portland, Maine. He was a presbyterian clergyman of eminence as a theologian, and professor of systematic theology in Union seminary of New York city in 1854- 74. He was the author of Faith and Philosophy; Apologetics; Chronological History of the Church of Christ; Introduction to Christian Theology; and System of Christian Theology. He died Feb. 7, 1876, in New York city.

SMITH, HENRY HOLLINGSWORTH, surgeon, author, was born Dec. 10, 1815, in Philadelphia, Pa. He was a surgeon of Philadelphia; and the author of Minor Surgery; System of Operative Surgery; Practice of Surgery; and Professional Visit to London and Paris. He died April 11, 1890, in Philadelphia, Pa.
