journalist, author, poet, was born July 6, 1862, in Oldham county, Ky. He is editor and owner of The Indian Citizen of Atoka, I. T.; and has contributed both prose and verse to current literature.

He was elected to the house of representatives of Pennsylvania in 1843 and 1844; and in 1845 was elected to the state senate.
