Sinnickson, Thomas
soldier, lawyer, jurist, congressman, was born in 1745 in Salem county, N. J. He served in the revolutionary war at the battles of Trenton and Princeton in the capacity of captain; and was for many years a member of the council and assembly of New Jersey, and the presiding judge of the court of common pleas. He was a representative in the first congress, after the adoption of the constitution, from 1789 to 1791; and was again a representative in congress from 1797 to 1799. He was a presidential elector in 1801. He died May 15, 1817, in Salem, N. J.
