Sinclair, Daniel

journalist, was born Jan. 12, 1833, in Scotland. For twenty years he was pastor of Winona, Minn. where he is the editor and owner of the Daily Republican.

SINCLAIR, EDGAR LAFAYETTE, educator, clergyman, was born Oct. 21, 1851, in Branch county, Mich. Heattended the Leoni College of the United Brethren; the Olivet college; the Ohio Normal university, from which institution he graduated in 1874. For many years he was engaged in educational work, and became superintendent of schools. During 1879-81 he attended Albion college; has attained prominence as one of the leading clergymen in the methodist episcopal church of Michigan, and now fills a pastorate at Shelby.
