Simmons, George A

state legislator, congressman, was born in 1771 in New Hampshire. He served a number of years in the assembly of New Hampshire; and was elected a representative from New Hampshire to the thirty-third and thirtyfourth congresses. He died Oct. 27, 1857, in Keesville, N. Y.

SIMMONS, GEORGE FREDERICK, clergyman, author, was born March 24, 1814, in Boston, Mass. He was a wellknown clergyman of Massachusetts, and, the state of New York; and published a number of sermons and religious works.

He died Sept. 5, 1855, in Concord, Mass.
