Sidwell, Milton Craven

educator, lawyer, jurist, was born Nov. 16, 1855, in Overton county, Tenn. He has held the office of county surveyor of Clay county, Tenn.; was superintendent of public instruction for four years of Pickett county, and four years held the same position in Clay county, Tenn.; and attained success as an educator. He is a prominent lawyer of Celina, Tenn.; has held the position of special judge in five courts; has been attorney general pro tempore; and has taken a prominent part in politics.

He stands high in Masonry; and is a member. of several fraternal orders.
