Rosenkrans, S. Alice

poet. She has contributed both prose and verse to the periodical press; and some of her poems have appeared in standard works.

ROSENOW, MAX GUSTAV GEORGE, engraver, artist, was born Aug. 17, 1864, in Germany. He received his education at the Bohn school of Berlin, Germany; studied art under Professor Bühler; and has attained success as a lithographer, engraver, and script designer. He is the senior member of Rosenow and Company, new process engravers, Chicago, Ill. He has designed numerous book covers for the foremost publishing houses of the west; and designed the cover for this volume of Herringshaw's American Biography.
