Robinson, John Bunyan
clergyman, lecturer, author, poet, was born April 11, 1834, in Osceola, Ohio. In 1860 he graduated at the Ohio Wesleyan university. He has been principal of the Mount Washington seminary, near Cincinnati; and was successively president of Willoughby college, Fort Wayne college, New Hampshire seminary and Female college, and Jennings seminary. He has lectured extensively; and is the author of Infidelity Considered; Vinves of Eshcol; Commencements; and various other prose works; and a volume of poetical works entitled Emeline. He is represented in Poets of America and other standard works.
