Reeve, William W

soldier, clergyman, was born Oct. 12, 1832, near Selma, Ala. He graduated with first honor at the Howard college, Ala., and took a full course and graduated from Rochester Theological seminary of New York city.

He went into the confederate army as captain of artillery; was afterward elected major; and subsequently promoted to lieutenant-colonel. He has traveled in Europe; and is now a baptist clergyman in Eufaula, Ala. The degree of D. D. was conferred upon him by the university of Alabama.
