Ragland, H. Clay

soldier, lawyer, legislator, was born May 7, 1844, in Goochland county, Va. In 1887 he established the Logan Banner, of which he is still editor and owner. During 1887-88 he was a member of the West Virginia state legislature.

RAGOZIN, MADAME ZENAIDE AL- EXEIEVNA, author, was born about 1835 in Russia. She is a Russian historical writer, naturalized in the United States in 1874, and the author of The Story of Chaldea; The Story of Assyria; The Story of Media and Babylon; and The Story of Vedic India.
