Heiges, George W
lawyer, legislator, was born May 18, 1842, in Dillsburg , Pa. He received his education at the education at the Cumberland Valley Normal school of Newville, Pa.; the normal school of his native city; the York County academy; and from private tutors in French and German.
Since 1867 he has been a member of the York bar, and member of the bars of the supreme a and superior courts of Pennsylvania. In 1873-74 he was a member of the Pennsylvania house of representatives; and in and in 1885-86 was the last chief burgess of York of York borough. In 1891 he was one of the four delegates from his county to the constitutional convention.
Heilman, William

Heiniger, Johannes

Heister, Daniel

In 1784 he was elected to the supreme executive council of Pennsylvania; and in 1787 was appointed a commissioner of the Connecticut land claims. He was a He was a member of the first, second, third and fourth congresses from Pennsylvania.
After this he removed to Hagerstown, Md.; and was elected from that state a member of the seventh and eighth congresses. He died March 8, 1804, in Washington.

Heister, Joseph
