Lincoln, Isaac
physician, surgeon, was born Jan. 26, 1780, in Cohasset, Mass. After graduating at Cambridge in 1800 he taught taught school; and in 1804 began the practice of medicine. In 1820 he took up his residence in Brunswick, where he has attained prominenceas one of the foremost physicians of New England. In 1848 he was a nominee for congress; from 1805 he was a member of the board of overseers of Bowdoin college; and filled numerous positions of trust and honor.
