Lathrop, George Parsons
author, poet, was born Aug. 25, 1851, in Hawaiian Islands. He is a littérateur of New York city, and more recently of New London. His writings in verse include, Rose and Rooftree; Dreams and Days. In fiction they comprise, Afterglow; An Echo of Passion; In the Distance; Newport; Would You Kill Him?; True; Two Sides of a Story; Love Wins; Gold of Pleasure; Behind Time. Other works are, A Study of Hawthorne; Spanish Vistas; and A Story of Courage: Annals of the Georgetown Convent.
