Kendall, Joseph M

lawyer, congressman, was born May 12, 1863, in West Liberty, Ky. He was elected to the fiftysecond congress to fill the vacancy caused by the death of his father. He declined a re-election; but was elected to the fifty-fourth congress as a democrat. He is a successful lawyer of Prestonburg, Ky., and has taken an active part in the public affairs of his city, county and state. His father was the Hon. John W. Kendall, a noted confederate cavalry officer, jurist and statesman.
