Huidekoper, Frederick W

railroad president, was born Sept. 12, 1840, in Meadville, Pa. Since 1891 he has been president of the Pittsburg, Shenango and Lake Erie railroad; and has also been president of various other roads.

HUIDEKOPER, HENRY SHIPPEN, soldier, author, was born in 1839, in Pennsylvania. He was a soldier in the federal army during the civil war who afterwards attained the rank of major-general in the Pennsylvania militia. He was postmaster of Philadelphia in 1880-85; and the author of a Manual of Military Service.
