Hornibrook, Edward
physician, surgeon, was born Oct. 28, 1838, in Ontario, Canada. He received his education in the public schools, the university of Toronto, and the university of Victoria college. He has served as dean of the medical college of Sioux City, Iowa, and professor of gynæcology in that institution. He was the first vice-president of the Iowa State Medical society; has served as consulting physician and surgeon of the Iowa hospital for the insane of Independence; and during 1891- 96 was trustee of the State Insane hospital. He is one of the foremost physicians and surgeons of Iowa, and now practices his profession at Cherokee.
