Holland, De Witt Clinton

business man, justice of the peace, was born Aug. 2, 1842, in Canada. Since 1869 he has been successfully engaged in the transfer and the express business at Mechanicsburg, Ohio. He has taken an active part in the public affairs of his state, and is now serving a third term as justice of the peace.

HOLLAND, EDWARD CLIFFORD, journalist, poet, was born in 1794, in Charleston , S. C. He was a journalist of Charleston who was the author of a volume of Odes, Naval Songs, and Other Poems . He died Sept. 11, 1824, in Charleston, S. ton, S. C.
