Hodgkinson, John
actor, was born in 1766, in England. His real name was HODGKINSON, JOHN, actor, was born Meadowcraft. He played in Philadelphia and Boston; and was the manager of several theaters. He was a methodist minister in Pennsylvania and other states. He was the author of Examination into the System of New Divinity; Ecclesiastical Policy of Methodism Defended; and Calvinistic Doctrine of Predestination Examined and Refuted. He died April 16, 1877.
