Herbert, Marine Lincoln

lawyer, was born Sept. 1, 1860, in Johnson county, Ind. He received his education in the public schools of his native county; subsequently studied law and was admitted to the bar. He has attained success as an able lawyer of Indiana, and has a lucrative practice in Edinburg. He has been deputy prosecuting attorney at Hope, Bartholomew county, Ind.; at Greenwood in Johnson county; and for several years past has been corporation counsel and city attorney for Edinburg.

He has contributed numerous articles to the periodical press and to law literature; and takes a prominent part in the public affairs of his county and state.
