Hall, Henry
journalist, author, was born Dec. 6, 1845, in Auburn, N. Y. In 1880 he was appointed by the government as special agent to collect the statistics of American ship-building. In 1882 he behe became business manager of the New York Tribune, which position he yet occupies .
He has published The History of Cayuga County; History of the Nineteenth New York Volunteers, and the Third Artillery; American Navigation; and America's Successful Men, in two volumes. a
