Frey, Joseph

congressman, was born in Pennsylvania. He was a representative in congress from that state from 1827 to 1831. a FREY, JOSEPH SAMUEL CHRISTIAN FREDERICK, missionary, clergyman, author, was born in 1773, in Germany. He was for some ten years a presbyterian minister and subsequently a baptist preacher, especially active as a missionary to the Jews. He was the author of Narrative of My Life; Hebrew Bible; Hebrew Grammar; Judah and Israel; Joseph and Benjamin; The Passover; and Scripture Types. He died June 5, 1850, in Pontiac, Mich.
