Flick, James P

soldier, lawyer, congressman, was born Aug. 28, 1845, in Bakerstown, Pa. He was a member of the seventeenth general assembly of Iowa; and served as district attorney of the third judicial district of Iowa for six years. He was elected to the fifty-first congress, and re-elected to the fifty-second congress as a republican. FLICKINGER, DANIEL KRUMLER, clergyman, bishop, author, was born in 1824, in Sevenmile, Ohio. He is a clergyman belonging to the sect of united brethren, and since 1885 a foreign missionary bishop of that faith. He is the author of Off-hand Sketches of Men and Things in Western Africa; Ethiopia; and The Church's Marching Orders.
