Cluff, Benjamin

educator, college president, was born Feb. 7, 1858, in Provo City, Utah. He attended the Brigham Young academy, and the university of Michigan; and has received the degrees of B. S. and M. S. During 1873-82 he was a traveling missionary in the Sandwich Islands; and in 1883-86 was president of the Young Men's Mutual Improvement association of Utah. He has been an instructor and vice-president of the Brigham Young academy; and since 1892 has been president of that institution.
