Callahan, Ethelbert

farmer, lawyer, legislator, was born Dec. 17, 1829, in Licking county, Ohio. He has been a justice of the peace at Robinson, Ill.; a member of the state board of equalization, and a delegate to the general conference of the methodist episcopal church. He has twice been a presidential elector, and for four terms served with distinction as a member of the general assembly of the state of Illinois. He has been president of the Illinois State Bar association, and a member of the commission to revise the laws of Illinois.
